Deep State – Shadow Government: Silencing Whistleblowers (Lee Camp & Kevin Shipp).
The idea of a deep state, as applied to the United States, is a term used in political science but also as a conspiracy theory whose adherents assert that there exists a state within a state, which they suspect exerts influence and control over public and foreign policy, regardless of which political party controls the country's democratic institutions.
Deep state has been defined by Mike Lofgren, a former Republican U.S. Congressional aide with B.A. and M.A. in history from the University of Akron who completed the strategy and policy curriculum at the Naval War College, as "a hybrid association of elements of government and parts of top-level finance and industry that is effectively able to govern the United States without reference to the consent of the governed as expressed through the formal political process."
Lee Camp is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and activist. He is the host of the weekly comedy news show Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp on RT America.
Kevin Shipp, former CIA Officer and Anti Terrorism expert, held several high level positions in the CIA. He was assigned as a protective agent for the Director of Central Intelligence, a counterintelligence investigator, team leader protecting sensitive CIA assets from assassination, manager of high risk Counter Terrorism Center protective operations, lead instructor for members of allied governments, internal staff security investigator and a polygraph examiner tasked with protecting the CIA from foreign agent penetration. He is the recipient of two CIA Meritorious Unit Citations, three Exceptional Performance Awards and a Medallion for overseas covert operations.
Shipp also supervised the Department of State Anti Terrorism Assistance program and managed the protective detail assigned to the president of Afghanistan following the US invasion.

I haven’t delved too far into his background yet but he gives me the distinct impression of “selling” his story, himself, book, etc… Don’t get a good vibe from him; nor a _bad_ one necessarily, but there’s just something….
